So Thankful

As we go thru this Christams Season, I am so thankful for family.

After spending some time Sat. Dec. 2nd with a member of my church and some of the family at the hospital, I realize again how important it is to have family instead of possessions. Possessions break, fail, and need replaced. Family is something we can always have, although some relations may be strained, need rebuilt, or are non existent. I realize how much stronger the family of God is. It is a pleasure to be pastoring and know I am in the center of God's will.

Christmas Spirit

I thank God for the privilege of serving him during this time of year. Christmas, to me, should be a highpoint in the Christians life. We are not only celebrating the gift of the baby which was given, but we are celebrating LIFE...and it was the beginning that ended up giving us a LIFE ETERNAL.

The news of these days may get you down, but remember...GOD IS IN CONTROL.
